Mellow FM does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or third parties. All personalization is processed entirely on your device.
The App requires Apple Music authorization to search the Apple Music catalog and stream tracks. This authorization is granted through Apple's standard permission dialog. The App does not access your personal Apple Music library, playlists, or listening history held by Apple.
The following information is stored exclusively on your device via Apple's UserDefaults and is never accessible to the developer:
Location access is requested only when you enable the "Weather-Based Music" feature in Settings. Your location is used solely to fetch current weather conditions via Apple's WeatherKit service and is not stored or transmitted to the developer.
The App uses Core Motion to detect physical activity (walking, running, driving) in order to tailor music selection. Activity data is processed entirely on-device and is never stored or transmitted.
When the weather feature is enabled, the App sends your approximate location to Apple's WeatherKit service to retrieve weather conditions. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. No weather data is stored or sent to the developer.
The App contains no analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking of any kind.
The App does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
